The President of Serbia spoke with Trump and expects improvement

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić reported that he had a phone conversation late Sunday night with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, noting that he expects improvements in relations with the United States “in all areas.”

The Serbian leader described the call as “very cordial” and added that Trump “knows a lot about Serbia.” Vučić expressed hope that relations between Serbia and the U.S. “will improve further in all areas” under Trump’s upcoming administration.

Vučić also anticipates a visit from Donald Trump to Serbia, as he noted that Serbia was the country with “the highest level of support for his election in all of Europe.”

And President Trump thanked for the tremendous support he received from the citizens of Serbia, from the Serbian people, Vučić said.
