In Denmark, a man surrendered a large arsenal as part of a gun amnesty

A resident of Denmark handed over approximately 80 firearms, 140 kilograms of ammunition, and a World War II-era hand grenade to the police, discovered while cleaning his home.

According to police, the collection included 62 pistols, 18 rifles and submachine guns, along with ammunition and weapon parts. This is the largest cache turned in during the nationwide amnesty aimed at preventing firearms from falling into the hands of criminal groups.

Citizens can anonymously surrender weapons without facing legal consequences until the end of November. In the first 12 days of the amnesty, more than 8,400 weapons and ammunition items were turned in. In some cases, police stations were evacuated due to grenades and explosives brought in by well-meaning citizens.
