Kim Jong-un orders mass production of kamikaze drones

Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, has ordered the mass production of kamikaze drones, a move signaling a major escalation in the country’s military capabilities.

According to North Korea’s state news agency KCNA, Kim attended a test of these new drones on Thursday, emphasizing the need for their rapid, full-scale production to elevate North Korea’s military strength.

These drones, which are designed to carry explosives and crash into enemy targets, have become a key component in Russia’s military strategy in Ukraine. Experts suspect that North Korea is not only supplying drones to Russia but also artillery ammunition, aiding Russia’s efforts in the ongoing conflict.

In addition, the U.S. State Department reported that thousands of North Korean soldiers have been stationed near the Russian border, particularly in the Kursk region, to bolster Russian forces. South Korean intelligence estimates that over 10,000 North Korean troops are involved in supporting the Russian military.
