Trump meets with Argentina’s Milieu ahead of conservative summit

Donald Trump expressed it was an “honor” to meet Argentina’s President Javier Milei in Florida before a conservative investment summit. Milei is the first foreign leader to meet Trump since his election victory on November 5.

At a gala at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, Milei congratulated Trump, suggesting divine support for their political movements. He is set to attend the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Investor Summit.

During the gala, Milei asserted that “the winds of freedom [were] blowing much stronger” since Trump’s victory, criticizing unfair tax systems and praising Elon Musk’s efforts to help humanity through his platform, X.

Trump lauded Milei as a “MAGA person,” highlighting his accomplishments in Argentina. Milei aims to establish a free trade agreement with the US under Trump, noting the comfort in collaboration with his administration.
