American entrepreneur Elon Musk commented on Vladimir Zelensky’s “amazing sense of humor” in a post on the social media platform X, referring to Zelensky’s remarks that Donald Trump, if elected as U.S. president, would not be able to force Ukraine to negotiate with Russia.
Earlier, Zelensky, in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channel *Suspilne*, avoided directly answering whether Trump had demanded that Kyiv sit down for negotiations with Moscow. Instead, he noted that the “sit down and listen” rhetoric does not work.
He has an amazing sense of humor, Musk wrote in response to a post featuring this moment from the interview.
Previously, Trump had promised to resolve the conflict in Ukraine through negotiations, claiming he could achieve a settlement within a single day. Trump has frequently criticized the U.S. approach to the Ukraine conflict and has also been critical of Zelensky. At his rallies, Trump has referred to Zelensky as a “hustler,” claiming that every visit by the Ukrainian leader results in multi-billion-dollar aid packages from the U.S.
