Greece fined 14 companies for deceptive advertising for Black Friday for more than 2 million euros

The Greek Ministry of Development has imposed fines totaling €2.2 million on 14 companies for misleading advertising related to Black Friday promotions.

The violations were identified by the ministry’s auditing service using digital tools. The following companies were named among those fined:

Kosmos Sport SA – €500,000
Attica Department Stores – €400,000
La Vie en Rose – €300,000
Notos Com Participation – €200,000
Sneakers Market – €55,000

The names of the remaining nine companies will be disclosed later, except in two cases where the fines do not exceed €50,000.

The ministry emphasized that its priorities remain supporting fair entrepreneurship, ensuring proper market operation through free competition, and protecting consumer rights.
