UK PM Keir Starmer blames Tories for “open borders experiment”

UK Prime Minister and Labour leader Keir Starmer has accused the Conservative Party of intentionally flooding Britain with third-world immigrants in what he calls a destructive open border experiment.”

Speaking at a Downing Street press conference, Starmer stated, “It happened intentionally, not by chance. It’s unforgivable.”

Despite 14 years of Conservative rule before Starmer’s leadership, Labour has often been blamed for immigration issues. After Brexit, the Tories shifted immigration policy, attracting non-European immigrants under the “Global Britain” banner.

Starmer blasted this approach, arguing it deliberately liberalized immigration after Brexit. He emphasized, The British people have the right to an explanation. This isn’t bad luck or a global trend—it’s another type of failure. Politics was reformed to create open borders under the guise of Brexit.”

Citing record-high net immigration of 906,000 people in the Conservatives’ final year in power, Starmer highlighted the consequences of their policies. Reflecting on the “Global Britain” slogan, he remarked, “That’s what they meant. It’s unforgivable.”
