Twelve members of a neo-Nazi group arrested in Italy

Italian police have detained 12 individuals linked to the activities of the neo-Nazi organization Werwolf Division.

A court in Bologna issued arrest warrants for the group’s members. They face charges of terrorism, propaganda, incitement to crimes motivated by racial, ethnic and religious hatred, as well as illegal possession of firearms.

As part of the operation, searches were also conducted at the homes of 13 additional individuals.

The investigation began in May 2023 when the Naples Prosecutor’s Office focused on the group’s activities. At that time, eight people were added to the list of suspects.

The investigation revealed the existence of a Telegram network allegedly used to plan violent acts and propagate messages glorifying the Holocaust.
