A trial is currently taking place in Berlin involving a Czech man accused of committing at least 1,059 rapes against his daughter.
The man, who has been living in Germany since 2012 and works as a construction worker, is alleged to have abused his daughter over a nine-year period, from 2015 to 2024, starting when she turned 15. All acts of violence were recorded on video, which he later used to blackmail his daughter. The courts have 1,059 confirmed cases of abuse, although the actual number may be higher.
According to the court, the father threatened his daughter by saying that if she refused to engage in sexual acts, he would have no choice but to take his own life or publish compromising material online. It has been established that from 2015 until the daughter reached adulthood, sexual contact with her occurred daily.
During the court proceedings, the accused asserted that he cannot be considered her father, despite being officially recognized as such, claiming that he has always been careful. It is currently unknown what punishment he may face.
