Frankenburg Technologies, an Estonian defense company, is set to begin testing its advanced anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine next year. This initiative was confirmed by the company’s CEO, Kusti Salm, during an interview with ERR.
“The technology is promising, and next year we will start testing it in Ukraine,” Salm emphasized, highlighting the innovation behind the project. He added that the agreement for these trials has already been secured, and the company’s approach is gaining widespread recognition.
Frankenburg has been spotlighted as one of Europe’s four leading high-tech defense startups, according to a recent Bloomberg report. The company aims to revolutionize missile guidance systems with its AI-based situational awareness technology, as detailed on its website.
Notably, Salm, who previously served as Secretary of the Estonian Ministry of Defense, has bolstered the company with expertise from four special forces generals. Among them are Martin Herem, former Chief of the Defense Forces, and Veiko-Vello Palm, the commander of the Estonian Division and ex-Chief of the General Staff.
