Climate activists spray paint a hotel in Berlin during LNG conference

In the German capital, Berlin, climate activists from the group “Last Generation” protested against a business conference focused on liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Several demonstrators threw green paint on front of the luxury Adlon hotel, located just steps from the Brandenburg Gate, where the conference was taking place.

Earlier in the morning, the activists attempted to block access to the hotel by sitting in front of the entrance, but they were removed by police.

In late September, climate protesters painted the columns of the Finnish parliament building red.

In early October, climate activists in Poland were charged after they splashed orange paint on the famous mermaid statue on the Vistula Riverbank in Warsaw during a protest in March.
