A bus carrying passengers overturned near Kraków, Poland, on December 19th, resulting in 15 people being injured.
The accident occurred in the afternoon near the village of Bochnia, east of Kraków, on road 965. The bus, which had been deployed to replace a canceled train service, suddenly veered off the road for unknown reasons and flipped onto its side. As a result, 15 individuals sustained injuries. The driver, who was most seriously hurt, was airlifted to a hospital by helicopter.
Other passengers are being treated with first aid at the scene, and some are being transported to nearby hospitals for further assessment following initial medical checks.
Emergency response teams, including firefighters, police, and medical personnel, are working at the scene. The section of road between Bochnia and Nowy Wiśnicz has been completely closed for safety reasons.
