Trump has proposed including the Panama Canal, Greenland and Canada as part of the US

Former U.S. President Donald Trump made another bold statement on social media, suggesting that the Panama Canal, Canada, and Greenland should be incorporated into the United States.

In his post, Trump wished everyone a Merry Christmas and specifically addressed the “wonderful Chinese soldiers who are illegally operating the Panama Canal.” He emphasized that the U.S. had invested billions of dollars in building the canal and hinted at the need to regain control over this vital asset.

Additionally, Trump extended holiday greetings to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, whom he referred to as the “Governor of Canada.” He criticized the high taxes in Canada but expressed confidence that if Canada became the 51st state of the U.S., its citizens’ tax rates could be reduced by more than 60%.

Trump also turned his attention to Greenland. He stated that its territory holds strategic importance for U.S. national security and remarked that “the people of Greenland want the U.S. to be there, and we will be there!”

Trump’s statements sparked lively discussion online, raising numerous questions about how serious his intentions might be.
