Trump will expel illegal migrants from the U.S. with their families

In light of the upcoming Trump administration, pressing issues surrounding immigration policy are once again coming to the forefront, particularly regarding families of undocumented migrants.

As stated by future Border Security chief Tom Homan, the new administration intends to tighten measures for the deportation of families whose children were born in the United States.

You knew you were in the country illegally and decided to have a child. Therefore, you put your family in this situation, Homan explains.

This statement has sparked widespread public debate and numerous questions about the humanity and legal implications of such actions. According to Homan, parents will have the option to either leave the country on their own, leaving their U.S.-born children behind, or take them along.

In the U.S., laws exist to protect the rights of children, including those born in the country, and many experts believe that the forced deportation of parents could lead to serious emotional and psychological consequences for both the children and the parents. As the beginning of Trump’s new term approaches, many organizations are preparing for active measures to defend the rights of migrants.
