Suspect arrested in Spain after TikTok influencer ‘Turkish’ shot dead in Paris

In a tragic turn of events, a TikTok influencer known as “Turkish” was shot and killed in Paris, and three months later, the suspected killer has been captured in Spain with a stash of firearms.

Umtucan A., who went by the name “Turkish” on TikTok, was fatally shot on October 10 in the Bel-Air district of Seine-Saint-Denis. Around 8:30 p.m., a dispute broke out between Umtucan and four other individuals. During the altercation, one of them drew a gun and shot the 29-year-old in a vital area, causing fatal injuries. The victim was treated at the scene but succumbed to his wounds. Police later discovered a 9mm shell casing, and a disturbing video of the body being carried away was shared online.

Haissam F. is suspected of being the shooter, and authorities believe he fled the scene after the murder. While the exact cause of the dispute remains unclear, police sources suggest it was not a gang conflict but rather a rivalry among criminals. The victim had a history of involvement in vehicle trafficking and had previously been arrested for driving a stolen car.

In a breakthrough, Haissam F. was apprehended in Barcelona, Spain, where authorities found him in possession of a Kalashnikov, two pistols, and two hunting rifles. He was transferred to Madrid and is now awaiting extradition back to France. The case continues to unfold as the investigation progresses.
