Energy will become cheap, housing will be affordable: Andrej Babiš starts his election campaign for the Czech parliament

Andrej Babiš, leader of the ANO movement, has started his election campaign for the Czech parliament, promising cheap energy and affordable housing.

In his speech, he emphasized the need to reduce housing costs and speed up the process of issuing construction permits, which, according to him, would lower prices by 10%. He also stated that he wanted to make mortgages more affordable and pensions and salaries for politicians fairer.

I have strong motivation to overthrow this government. We want to speed up the process of issuing apartment construction permits, which will lower their cost by ten percent. We want people not to pay five percent for mortgages. Why are banks profiting off people? We believe housing is key to increasing birth rates, said Babiš.

The politician also emphasized that his program will focus on supporting the younger generation and promised to address issues related to expensive energy resources and high water prices. Despite his ambitious statements, he kept the details of his program secret, explaining it was due to competition.
