US vice president urges German parties to cooperate with “Alternative for Germany”

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has recommended that German politicians engage with all parties, including the right-wing “Alternative for Germany” (AfD). He made this statement in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

According to Vance, excluding right-wing parties that oppose migration from government coalitions restricts the will of voters, who have repeatedly called for stricter border control.

He also mentioned billionaire Elon Musk, who has openly endorsed “Alternative for Germany” ahead of the upcoming elections on February 23. According to the U.S. Vice President, Musk does not speak on behalf of Donald Trump, but he agrees that European countries should reduce the influx of migrants from the Middle East, Africa, and other regions.

Vance criticized European leaders for condemning Musk, and according to The Wall Street Journal, he plans to express support for the entrepreneur in his upcoming speech.
