Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković was hospitalized on Friday evening due to heart problems.
A representative from the Croatian government confirmed this in a statement to the HINA news agency.
According to the spokesperson, Plenković was taken to the hospital for treatment of a “benign episodic heart arrhythmia.”
The scheduled procedure was successfully completed, and it is expected that Plenković will be discharged from the hospital later on Saturday.
