Greek PM confirms Greece not ready to send troops to Ukraine

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated that Greece is not prepared to join the coalition of countries sending troops to Ukraine.

Speaking after a meeting in Paris, Mitsotakis clarified, “Greece is not among the countries willing to send troops to Ukraine as part of the ‘Coalition of the Willing,'” and warned that such discussions could lead to “certain divisions.” He emphasized that the focus should remain on the primary objective—bringing an end to the war through a ceasefire.

Mitsotakis reiterated that all countries involved have agreed on the urgent need for a ceasefire as a crucial step forward.
