The Ministry of Defense in Finland was vandalized overnight Saturday when its facade was splashed with pink paint.
Helsinki police received a report of the incident at 1:42 a.m., according to the Command Center of the Helsinki Police Department.
A photograph obtained by Ilta-Sanomat shows the main entrance of the building stained with paint. Authorities say two individuals were spotted at the scene and are suspected of carrying out the act. Their current whereabouts remain unknown.
The damage was reported to police by a security guard on duty at the time.
An investigation has been launched, and a criminal case is underway for aggravated property damage.
