Tucker Carlson criticized Trump for U.S. complicity in Israel’s strike on Iran

Television host and recent supporter of Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, has sharply criticized the former U.S. president over Israel’s recent strike on Iran.

According to Carlson, the United States was not only aware of the upcoming attack but also actively helped facilitate it—making Washington complicit in the conflict. This was reported by The New Republic.

Carlson emphasized that U.S. involvement in the events contradicts the “America First” slogan previously championed by Trump and his allies. In his view, American leaders can no longer credibly claim to act in the nation’s best interest while staying out of foreign conflicts.

Our country is deeply entangled. It’s worth stepping back and asking: how does any of this help the United States? I can’t think of a single reasonable answer, Carlson said.

Carlson’s statement sparked a wave of reactions in the American political sphere and raised questions about Republican unity amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
