China’s defense industry is gearing up for a significant event — the launch of the new innovative unmanned vehicle Jiutian SS is expected in June. This will be the first drone carrier of its kind, according to the reputable publication The Economic Times.
The vehicle weighs about 15 tons and has an impressive wingspan of 25 meters. It can reach altitudes of up to 15 kilometers and cover distances of up to 7,000 kilometers without refueling. These characteristics make the Jiutian SS one of the most advanced platforms for deploying and managing unmanned systems.
The primary mission of the Jiutian SS is to deliver and deploy more than 100 FPV (First Person View) drones capable of conducting coordinated swarm attacks. These drones will be able to interact with each other and perform complex combat tasks in real time. The swarm operations will be managed fully autonomously by artificial intelligence, eliminating the need for human intervention in command processes.
Experts believe that the Jiutian SS and its associated swarm drone technology will significantly enhance the tactical capabilities of the Chinese armed forces, especially in modern high-tech conflict scenarios. The use of artificial intelligence will increase the efficiency and accuracy of strikes while minimizing human casualties.
