The traditional Independence Day march has begun in Warsaw

The capital of Poland, Warsaw, has kicked off its traditional march on the occasion of Independence Day, November 11.

This year’s demonstration is being held under the slogan “The Strength of a Great Poland is Us.” The march started at Dmowski Square at 2:00 PM. Participants, carrying national symbols, are heading towards the Poniatowski Bridge and will continue along the usual route towards the National Stadium.

Metal barriers have been set up along the route, and there is a significant police presence, along with firefighters and other emergency services.

On this day, Warsaw has issued a ban on the possession, transport, and use of fireworks. Additionally, flying drones is prohibited.
