Five people have been arrested in Sweden on suspicion of involvement in a shooting on New Year’s Eve that left two 15-year-old boys seriously injured.
The shooting occurred on the evening of December 31 in the Rosengård district of Malmö, on a residential stairwell. The injured teenagers were hospitalized in critical condition. Initial suspects were detained at the scene.
Later, police announced additional arrests, bringing the total to five young men aged between 15 and 20. They have been charged with attempted murder and remain in custody.
