Poland has not changed its position on sending its troops to Ukraine

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak confirmed that his country maintains its position of not sending troops to Ukraine.

Błaszczak emphasized that Poland still does not support sending its soldiers to Ukraine – an idea first proposed by French President Emmanuel Macron last year.

Representatives of the Trump administration are now insisting on the concept of sending European troops to Ukraine as peacekeepers in the event of a peace agreement with Russia.

“Poland has clearly stated from the very beginning that it does not consider the scenario of deploying troops to Ukraine,” said Błaszczak.

Polish President Andrzej Duda recently assured support for Ukraine in the future but emphasized that Poland is not required to deploy its own troops.
