Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is preparing to travel to the United States this week.
The news was first reported by Denník N and later confirmed by sources close to Fico. According to Denník N, Fico plans to fly to Washington on the morning of Thursday, February 20, and return on Sunday, February 23—though the dates are still subject to change.
It remains unclear whether the Slovak Prime Minister will be able to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump or billionaire Elon Musk, whom he recently contacted in a letter requesting a meeting.
Fico’s visit will coincide with the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), taking place in Washington from February 19 to 23, where Donald Trump is also expected to be present.
