Trump said that Zelensky will come to the U.S. on February 28 to sign a mineral agreement

Donald Trump announced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the U.S. on February 28 to sign an agreement on the development of mineral resources in Ukraine. Trump made this statement during a U.S. Cabinet meeting on February 26.

He noted that relations with Russia and Ukraine are “going very well” in the U.S., referring to efforts to end the war. The U.S. leader also criticized Europe for allegedly spending $100 billion on aid to Ukraine, while the U.S. supposedly allocated $350 billion, which is inaccurate.

The most important thing is we are going to sign an agreement with Russia and Ukraine to stop the killings, Trump added, without providing further details.

Earlier, Zelensky confirmed that his visit to the U.S. is scheduled for February 28, and he expressed his intention to discuss a mineral agreement and security issues with Trump.
