Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó stated that at the meeting of EU foreign ministers, Hungary will oppose Brussels’ proposals aimed at prolonging the conflict in Ukraine and undermining peace efforts.
Today in Brussels, several proposals are on the agenda, under which Ukraine is to receive additional billions of euros or weapons funded by European taxpayers. We are heading to Brussels to oppose pro-war proposals and promote the success of peace negotiations, Szijjártó wrote on social media.
According to him, liberal European politicians supporting military funding are obstructing peace talks, which has led to Brussels becoming “completely isolated in global politics.”
