In the Lithuanian city of Mažeikiai, near the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, four flagpoles displaying Ukrainian flags were knocked over and damaged.
Photos from the scene show that only the flagpoles with Ukrainian flags were targeted — the Lithuanian flags remained untouched. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The city is equipped with surveillance cameras, and authorities are working to identify those responsible.
According to the Mažeikiai municipality, such an offense carries administrative penalties.
