U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he considers the first 100 days of his second term in the White House to be extremely successful.
I believe we had very successful first 100 days of the presidency. People wrote that it was the best first month, the best second month—and indeed the best third month. But this will not be immediately clear, because the transition takes some time, Trump said in an interview with Time magazine.
In response to a question about expanding presidential powers, Trump said that he is merely using his authority as it was “originally intended.”
The day before, poll data from Decision Desk HQ and The Hill newspaper showed that U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating had dropped to its lowest level since the beginning of his second term, amid economic difficulties and public criticism. On Wednesday, a poll by Reuters and Ipsos revealed that only 37% of Americans approve of Trump’s actions in the economic sector.
In January 2025, Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States.
