The talks scheduled to take place today in Istanbul have been postponed to the second half of the day at the initiative of the Turkish side. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.
According to Zakharova, the change in schedule was proposed by Turkey due to organizational reasons. Specific details of the upcoming discussions, as well as the topics to be addressed, have not been disclosed.
The rescheduling was initiated by Ankara. We are ready for dialogue and continue our constructive cooperation with our Turkish partners, Zakharova emphasized.
It is worth noting that in recent years, Istanbul has become one of the key venues for hosting international meetings and negotiations on a range of issues, including security, humanitarian initiatives, and regional conflicts.
The outcomes of the talks are expected to be announced upon their conclusion.
