Collapse of a farm building in Spain kills three people

Three people were killed and another three seriously injured when the roof of a farm outbuilding collapsed in the Spanish town of Coaña, located in the northern region of Asturias. The incident was reported by El País.

The tragedy occurred on May 29 during the day at a local farm, where the roof of a barn undergoing reconstruction suddenly gave way. Three workers died at the scene, while three others sustained serious injuries. One of the injured, in critical condition, was airlifted by helicopter, and the others were taken to hospitals in nearby towns. Three additional workers who were present at the site were unharmed.

Local authorities and emergency services have launched an investigation into the cause of the collapse. The incident has reportedly shocked the small community of Coaña.
