Trump demanded an investigation into payments to celebrities for supporting Kamala Harris

Donald Trump has called for an investigation into potential illegal payments made to celebrities for publicly endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris during her election campaign.

How much did Kamala Harris pay Bruce Springsteen for his weak performance during her presidential campaign? Why would he agree to take the money if he’s such a fan of hers? Isn’t that a large and illegal campaign contribution? Trump wrote on social media.

The former president also questioned how much other celebrities — including Beyoncé, TV host Oprah Winfrey, and U2 frontman Bono — might have received for supporting Harris, adding that he intends to demand a “serious investigation” into the matter.

Trump emphasized that candidates are prohibited from paying for endorsements from public figures and called such celebrities “unpatriotic.”
